Terms and Conditions for IJsselmeer Lake Houses

1. Introduction Welcome to Ijsselmeer Lake Houses. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website, located at https://www.ijsselmeerlakehouses.com.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Ijsselmeer Lake Houses if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

2. Reservation Policy

  • Deposit: The reservation is confirmed upon receipt of 100% deposit of the total rental price, which must be paid within 48 hours after booking.

  • Damage Responsibility: Guests are responsible for any damage to the property during their stay. A damage deposit of €500 will be collected at check-out if damage is found, or within 14 days after departure.

  • Check-In/Out: Check-in time is after 3:00 PM and check-out time is before 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability.

  • Guest Limit: The maximum number of guests allowed in the house is 4. Additional guests are not permitted without the owner's prior approval and may result in additional charges.

  • Smoking Policy: Smoking is not allowed inside the house. A cleaning fee of €100 will be charged if smoking is detected.

  • Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed in the house.

  • Cleanliness: The guest is responsible for leaving the house in a clean and tidy condition upon check-out. An extra cleaning fee of €100 will be charged if the house is left excessively dirty.

  • House Rules: The renter is expected to follow all house rules, which will be provided at the time of booking. Failure to comply may result in termination of the rental agreement and eviction.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Standard Cancellations:

    • Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund of the deposit.

    • Cancellations made between 15-29 days prior to the arrival date will result in a 50% refund of the deposit.

    • Cancellations made within 14 days or less of the arrival date will not receive a refund.

  • Special Promotions: If a special promotion period states that the rates are non-refundable, the standard cancellation policy does not apply.

  • Written Confirmation: Changes or cancellations must be made in writing and are not considered valid until confirmed by the property owner.

  • Extenuating Circumstances: In cases like natural disasters, travel restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances, the property owner may offer a partial or full refund at their discretion.

  • Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance to cover potential cancellations or other travel-related issues.

  • Property Unavailability: If the property is unavailable for the booked dates, the property owner will provide an alternative property or a full refund.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: Additional fees, such as cleaning or pet fees, are non-refundable.

  • Policy Modification: The property owner reserves the right to modify the cancellation policy at any time.

4. Special Discount Offer

  • Discount Details: We offer a 20% discount on new bookings made for the period from December to February.

  • Eligibility for Discount: This discount is only applicable to new bookings made during this period.

  • Non-Refundable: Bookings made with this discount are non-refundable under any circumstances.

5. Liability Ijsselmeer Lake Houses will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or your booking.

6. Privacy Policy Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the site and informs users of our data collection practices.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be immediately posted on the website and are effective upon posting.
